HSR Terms of use

Fees In Advance

It is Australian Safety & Training Group’s policy that all fees are paid in advance before the commencement of the course.

What do student fees cover?

All course fees include all training materials, including an official hard copy of the OHS Act 2004 for the Initial Course.

Course fees include 5 days training for the Initial Course, and One days training for the Refresher.    If a student misses a day they will be given the opportunity to attend another training course to catch up that day.  There is no charge for this service.

All HSR Initial training courses must be completed within 6 months of commencement including any catch up sessions.

Terms and methods of payment

Fees are to be paid within (14) days of receipt of an invoice, unless the payee has elected to pay according to a direct debit payment schedule which has been approved by Australian Safety & Training Group.  The terms of all invoices are fourteen (14) days.

For group bookings, a 50% deposit of the total cost is required to confirm the booking. This deposit is non-refundable except in the instance where Australian Safety & Training Group cancels the course.  Invoices for group bookings will be addressed to the organisation in charge of making the booking. The balance will be invoiced prior to the course commencement date.

Australian Safety & Training Group accepts the following methods of payment – cheque, money order and electronic funds transfer

Refunds – Fee for Service

Clients  who withdraw from a course and wish to seek a refund, must apply to Australian Safety & Training Group in writing, outlining the details and reason for their request.

Clients who withdraw within 24 hrs of the course commencing will not be eligible for a refund.

Eligibility for a refund will be assessed based on the services provided to the student and the costs incurred by Australian Safety & Training Group in order to provide those services to the student/client.

The outcome of the refund assessment will be provided by written notice to the client outlining the decision and reasons for the decision along with any applicable refund or adjustment notice within 5 working days of the request.

Course Cancelation

Due to unforeseen circumstances it may be necessary from time-to-time to cancel a course.

Clients will be given as much notice as possible when a course is to be cancelled.

Where a course is cancelled, clients will be given the opportunity to attend a following training course or receive a full refund.
